These recordings are prefect for teaching variations to students, and for students or professionals wishing to rehearse a particular variation in private. The Female Variations collection makes an ideal resource for ballet schools, making the teaching and performing of solo variations easy and convenient – internal and external ballet competitions can be held safe in the knowledge that all of the requisite music has been found, at the right tempo, cleanly recorded and clearly marked.

Every single track has had it’s tempo set by a panel of ex-professional soloists from some of the world’s top ballet companies, including the Royal Ballet, the English National Ballet, Frankfurt Ballet and Dresden Semperoper. This ensures that, as far as is possible, the music is at a good tempo for performance. If any track is needed at a different tempo, I also offer a bespoke tempo service, where I will tailor the speed of a variation to perfectly suit the abilities of an individual dancer.*

Recorded on a beautiful Steinway Model D grand piano, the recordings sound clear and professional, providing all the support a dancer needs when performing a challenging solo.
